It is with great regret that we have to advise you that we are now going to have to close our courts.
We had been hoping until yesterday to keep the courts open. We believed that the structure of our courts, the fact that they are separate from each other, meant that we could find a way to allow them to continue to be used safely.
However, the Scottish statutory instrument that came into force yesterday, Health Protection (Coronavirus) (Restrictions) (Scotland) Regulations 2020, makes it a criminal offence for a club like ours not to cease operating during the emergency and not to close its courts.
With immediate effect therefore our courts are closed and will remain closed until further notice.
